The rest of my trip was so great!
I finally got a chance to scan these instax photos I took when we went to the Geiranger Fjord:
Actually, my flight home was very stressful. I was supposed to leave Copenhagen at 7:50AM on Sunday, but according to the airline desk, when they scanned my passport I was on an afternoon flight...which meant I would miss ALL my connecting flights. I was really upset because at the time, no one would take responsibility for this mistake. The airline told me it was the booking agency's responsibility (in this case, Orbitz) to rebook me, but when I called they didn't solve anything. :(
I decided to just take the afternoon plane and rebook at the London airport. The only available flights were for the next day, and I ended up spending the night in London. Monday was spent entirely by traveling (and waiting at the Vancouver airport for 6 hours), which meant I missed work.
After complaining to Orbitz through twitter, their customer service team actually admitted they were at fault and would reimburse me for rebooking fees, etc if I sent them my new itinerary and receipts. I just sent them everything today and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get my money back!
Lesson learned...I'll keep booking my flights to Scandinavia through SAS like I used to, even if it's a bit more expensive. I've never had any issues with them.
...
As I mentioned in my previous post, I got engaged! I need to start some serious researching and preparing for visa. It's a bit complicated because I am a US citizen, and he is a Norwegian citizen studying/living in Denmark. Curious if that makes it difficult for me to move to Denmark. If anyone has experience with this please let me know! I need all the help I can get. :P
