healthy may pt. 2

This past Wednesday I went to a wellness fair at our university's rec center! There were many booths with healthy food samples, health/wellness groups in Portland and more. I also got my BMI checked for the first time - you know, where they pinch you and measure it? ;-)

hooray!

Overall, I'm still struggling with my eating and sleeping habits. I have been eating out way too much lately (but the noodles and cocktail I had today were so delicious! sigh). Tomorrow I'm definitely going grocery shopping after lunch with my parents (happy mother's day!).

healthy may pt. 1

Here is my favorite water bottle - important to stay hydrated, whether you are working out or not. ;-) It's a Takeya glass water bottle with a silicone sleeve

Here is what my weeks generally consist of (they are all classes at the local rec center):
Monday: strength & sculpt
Tuesday: abs, buns & thighs
Wednesday: cycle (my favorite!)
Thursday: abs & arms
Friday: bootcamp

It was difficult at first, but it's key to make it a part of your daily routine. Now I'm working on fixing my diet at the same time. I've been wanting to try to the 3-day juice cleanse on The Skinny Confidential. Maybe I'll give it a shot this week? Has anyone had experience with a juice cleanse? Would you recommend it?
