Exciting things happening in the blogosphere!

1. A recipe for grilled flank steak with black beans, corn and tomatoes. Definitely want to try making it sometime this week!

2. A round up of adorable shorts on Honey Kennedy. My favorites are the polka dot surf shorts, Kruli floral silk shorts and bungalow stripe panorama shorts!

3. Another fantastic flower crown tutorial. Why haven't I made one yet?

4. 5 things you cannot go without in your handbag. In my purse I always have: 3 small vials of perfume (lately I've been using one from Juicy Couture, gifted from a friend), chapstick, lipstick, small tube of lotion, bobby pins, a mirror and eye drops. There's also a slew of junk and other stuff (haha!) but those are my essentials. ;-)

5. A dupe to Mac's shy girl - NYX in pumpkin pie! Definitely gonna try and stop by Ulta this weekend. Thanks for the heads up, Gia!

6. Discovered another great health/fitness blog, The Realistic Nutritionist. Some recipes I have bookmarked: low fat broccoli alfredo, easy pesto chicken and cream of mushroom chicken. yum!
